余昊森
Welcome! I am currently a Ph.D. researcher at University of Southampton, advised by Dr. Basel Halak and Dr. Tomasz Kazmierski.
Previously, I received my M.Sc. degree from the University of Southampton (Southampton, U.K.) in 2022 and the B.Eng. degree in electronic information engineering from CQUPT, Chongqing, China in 2020.
I am a researcher in secure and trustworthy AI systems, focusing on the design, evaluation, and protection of deep learning models and AI accelerator architectures. My work covers CNN and Vision Transformer security, hardware Trojan resilience, backdoor defence, and the system-level evaluation of NoC-based multi-core heterogeneous deep learning accelerators. I have developed novel defence mechanisms for AI accelerator, including SSDM and FilterShield, and I work across the full research pipeline, from threat modelling and architecture design to large scale experimentation and publication.
My research interests include Machine Learning, Security of AI Accelerator, Vision Transformer, Convolutional Neural Network, Hardware Trojan, Embedded Systems, FPGA-Based Digital System Design. My broader research interest lies in combining machine learning, signal understanding, and AI system design to build reliable and impactful intelligent systems.
